River Forest Yachting Centers’ Hurricane Club® was established to provide a secure haven for boat owners during hurricane conditions.

By enrolling in the Hurricane Club®, boat owners can avail themselves of the wet or dry boat storage options available at RFYC’s hurricane-protected freshwater locations in Stuart and Moore Haven.

These locations feature aircraft tie-down cleats in Moore Haven and augers in Stuart, which securely strap down boats to ensure maximum protection during severe weather events.

Hurricane Club® members are guaranteed a reserved space for their boat in the event of a windstorm, ensuring that their valuable asset remains protected during severe weather conditions.

RFYC’s inland locations, with convenient access to the Atlantic Ocean, Lake Okeechobee, and the Gulf of America, make it the ideal choice for hurricane refuge.

Insurance companies often require boat owners in hurricane zones to have a comprehensive hurricane plan, and RFYC’s Hurricane Club® allows boat owners to fulfill their insurance plan’s hurricane storage provisions.

Is your boat on a trailer at home? Don’t wait until a hurricane is in the forecast to make a plan to keep your vessel safe. 

Our Boats on TrailersTM program allows you to  reserve your spot today, and when a named storm threatens, simply tow your boat to River Forest Yachting Centers. We’ll secure it right on your trailer—no unloading required. 

Choose from indoor climate-controlled, Category 4-rated protection or outdoor tie-down land storage. Inside or outside, your vessel is protected at River Forest Yachting Centers. 

Vehicle VaultTM Program

Now you can protect your RV or car with the same trusted hurricane protection our Hurricane Club members rely on for their boats.

Simply reserve your space in advance, and when a named storm threatens, bring your RV or vehicle to us. We’ll keep it safely inside our Category 4-rated, climate-controlled storage buildings, complete with advanced fire suppression systems, until the storm has passed.
